Dr. S. Marie Kuhnen Memorial Field Trip Series

HALF-DAY — SEARCH FOR EAGLES TRIPS

Join Jack Paladino, President Emeritas, Brandwein Institute to Search for Eagles, our national symbol.  Travel by personal car caravan to:

  • Hawk’s Nest Overlook
  • Upper Delaware Scenic River
  • Mongaup Eagle Observation Blind
  • Rio Reservoir
  • Lackawaxen River — conclusion at 4:00 p.m.

Dress warmly, bring binoculars, field guides, a snack and a beverage .

An eagle identification field guide and a “Search for Eagles” activities hand-out will be provided by the Brandwein Institute.

2019-2020 SCHEDULED EAGLE HALF-DAY FIELD TRIPS:

  • March 8, 2020 – 12:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Meet at 12:00 Noon at the North Entrance of Delaware Water Gap Parking Area on RT 209 (just south of Milford Bridge Toll Plaza).

FULL-DAY FIELD TRIP:

March 1, 2020, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Meet 8:00 a.m. at the PEEC parking lot OR meet 10:00 a.m. at the North entrance to the DWGNRA, 200 yards south on Route 209 South from the Milford Bridge.
