The Brandwein Institute is offering a virtual camping experience this summer between July 13–24, called the “Brandwein Institute Summer Virtual Nature Science Camp (in-a-Box).” The Camp will be led by Master Teacher Kasey Stankunas, other Master Teachers, and local Naturalists. Each participant will receive an all-inclusive box of materials, games, instructions, and multiple opportunities to connect with our teachers and naturalists with both live and prerecorded events, to simulate as best as possible a real camp experience. Many activities will be designed to self-distance the camper away from computer and traditional online learning models. The goal of the virtual science camp is to re-engage students with the natural world and re-inspire their love of science near where they live. To further connect campers to the experience, families will have a window of private time available to visit the Brandwein Nature Learning Preserve for a guided trail walk with one of our Instructors or Naturalists.

Register for the Brandwein Institute Summer Virtual Nature Science Camp at Please fill out one application for each child. Registration closes June 26, 2020. The cost will be $59.00 per participant. There is an online payment system once you register.
