The Brandwein Institute will present the Brandwein Medal to the New York Outdoor Education Association on September 22nd at its 50th anniversary conference. The award honors NYOEA for promoting life-long learning about the outdoors and inspiring appreciation of the environment. The conference is being held September 20-23 at the Greenkill YMCA Outdoor Education & Retreat Center, Huguenot, NY. The Brandwein Institute is also sponsoring a speaker and hosting a field trip to the Brandwein Nature Learning Preserve on Saturday and a Hawk Watch on Sunday.
